Overview

In this role you will support the Virtual Design & Construction team to advance 3D modeling and coordination for commercial projects in Atlanta. You'll drive clash detection and resolution, manage modeling deliverables, and ensure alignment with contract documents and standards. You will work closely with project teams to solve coordination issues and contribute to VDC goals. This is a hands-on, in-person role that values collaboration and continuous learning to deliver accurate models at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate problem solving using technology and collaboration with project teams
  • Coordinate workload for one or more projects with VDC Manager(s)
  • Manage modeling efforts and deliverables to solve construction issues
  • Track the VDC coordination schedule and provide progress updates
  • Identify and facilitate resolution of coordination conflicts using clash detection in Navisworks
  • Lead clash resolution and coordination meetings, ensuring items are completed
  • Apply modeling best practices and company standards to produce accurate models
  • Conduct quality reviews of modeled scope and ensure compliance with contract documents
  • Apply lessons learned to facilitate project coordination
  • Implement VDC services in accordance with standards and best practices
  • Contribute to VDC goals and company initiatives
Key requirements
  • 0-4 years BIM/VDC experience on commercial construction projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Computer Graphics, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent
  • Willingness to relocate and travel
  • Willingness to learn and develop relevant skills
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling and coordination tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and other applicable tools
  • Understanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules
  • Basic understanding of the construction management process (RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings)
