Overview

In this role you will lead Employee and Labor Relations for the Las Vegas region, shaping a compliant, high-performing HR culture. You will oversee investigations, union contract enforcement, advisory support for management, and the development of HR Integrity & Performance culture staff. You will drive grievance, mediation, and arbitration processes, and guide employment decisions in performance and conduct matters. This position offers a chance to influence organizational integrity and labor relations within a premier hospitality company.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all employee investigations across the region
  • Enforce and interpret union contracts and collective bargaining agreements
  • Advise and counsel management on HR issues
  • Train and develop HR Integrity & Performance/Culture staff and Operations staff
  • Manage grievance, mediation, and arbitration processes
  • Make employment decisions in performance and conduct resolutions
  • Handle outside agency inquiries and compliance issues with federal/state entities
  • Interact with multiple unions on collective bargaining matters
  • Participate in collective bargaining and other employee relations initiatives
  • Ensure policy interpretation and fair employment practices across properties
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in Labor Relations/Employee Relations with HR supervisory experience
  • Strong background in Labor Law and experience with union contracts and mediation
  • Experience with negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements (preferred)
  • College Degree or equivalent in work experience (required); Master's in HR or related field preferred
  • General knowledge of HRM and the gaming industry
  • Knowledge of NLRA, EEO, AA, and Title VII laws; compliance monitoring
  • Proven leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to train, lead, and motivate staff; high integrity in a regulated business
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements including work cards
