Overview In this CEI Senior Project Engineer role, you lead complex transportation construction oversight for public-sector clients in Jacksonville, driving project delivery and client engagement. You'll mentor CEI staff, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and quality across projects. Responsibilities- Lead and win CEI opportunities with local governments and FDOT
- Provide leadership, supervision, training, and development to CEI engineers, project admins, and inspectors
- Perform CEI Senior Project Engineer duties per FDOT standard scope of services for current and future projects
- Lead by example in Culture, Safety, Quality, and Professionalism
Key requirements- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- State of Florida Professional Engineer (PE) registration
- Experience managing CEI projects, inspection/testing teams, or coordinating tasks of moderate size and complexity
- Ability to manage budgets, personnel, schedules, sub consultants, and client interaction
