Microstrategy Administration

In this role you will manage and optimize large MicroStrategy BI environments, ensuring secure data access, reliable reporting, and high performance. You will work within a cross-functional IT team to translate business requirements into robust BI solutions and metadata design. The position emphasizes UNIX/Linux administration, data modeling, and end-to-end BI delivery. You'll contribute to capacity planning, upgrades, and cross-environment QA to support decision-making at scale.

• Administer MicroStrategy environments on UNIX platforms
• Configure metadata and base reporting objects; manage security and performance tuning
• Handle report delivery via distribution services and troubleshoot data issues
• Develop project schemas based on dimensional models and maintain BI performance
• Coordinate MicroStrategy version upgrades and metadata across multiple environments
• Maintain QA environments and support capacity planning and tuning

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent; or 3 years of progressive experience per year of education
• 4+ years of IT experience
• Strong UNIX/Linux and shell scripting skills
• Proficiency in MicroStrategy administration and BI reporting
• Data warehousing, ETL concepts, SQL and data modeling
