Overview As Senior Construction Manager, you lead large-scale projects with focus on safety, quality, schedule, and budget. You will guide cross-functional teams, coordinate design and trade work, and maintain strong relations with owners, architects, and authorities. You drive risk management, preconstruction alignment, and buyout, shaping project delivery from planning to completion. This role anchors Webcor's safety culture and project excellence across mega projects, offering a visible impact on outcomes and partnerships. You will lead with strategic vision, mentoring staff and building the company's presence with clients and partners.
Responsibilities- Represent Webcor to owners, architects, subcontractors and the public, building strong relationships
- Plan and coordinate assigned projects from conception to execution
- Lead and guide teams on scheduling, logistics, and general project requirements
- Inspect multiple jobsites for budget, schedule, safety compliance
- Oversee design management and trade coordination
- Develop and improve safety policies and culture
- Manage budget for general conditions and procurement, aligning preconstruction with construction
- Foster partnerships with subcontractors, design teams, municipalities and authorities
- Analyze complex problems and guide teams to implement sound actions
- Participate in development of internal training and mentor SMEs
- Build personal and professional networks to support recruiting and problem-solving
- Lead large teams to ensure effective jobsite logistics and best practices
- Support pursuit of new work with marketing and preconstruction teams
- Identify and mitigate project risks
Key requirements- Proven track record on megaprojects as a construction manager
- Strategic understanding of organization, administration, and fiscal/staff management
- Ability to lead design processes
- Advanced understanding of safety management in construction
- Experience with construction claims avoidance and resolution
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance/quality control practices
- Advanced knowledge of local, state, federal codes and procedures
- 18+ years of diversified construction experience
- Minimum 3 years as a Construction Manager
