Overview As a senior BI/DW expert, you will design and deliver QlikView-based dashboards and data models that power enterprise decision-making. You will lead end-to-end BI initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams while optimizing performance and data integration from multiple sources. The role combines hands-on development with architectural input to shape scalable BI solutions in a global delivery environment. You will mentor others, uphold best practices, and defend technical approaches to stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Design and develop QlikView dashboards and data visualizations
- Architect and implement BI solutions with data from multiple sources
- Perform data modeling (star schema), ETL/ELT design, and performance optimization
- Lead and mentor a larger QlikView-focused team in project planning and execution
- Manage end-to-end BI projects (scorecards, KPIs, reports, dashboards) and ensure production readiness
- Configure and utilize QlikView Server/Publisher and related deployment processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide advanced technology advisory and stay current with trends in data visualization
Key requirements- 9+ years in DW/BI technologies
- 6+ years in project lifecycle activities on development/maintenance projects
- Hands-on QlikView development (version 10+; version 11 preferred)
- Experience in data sourcing from disparate systems and data modeling/ETL
- Strong SQL, relational databases, and dimensional modeling (star schema)
- Proficient in front-end design and visualization best practices
- Experience with end-to-end BI deployments including dashboards and scorecards
- Ability to lead teams, estimate, plan and track projects in QlikView
- Willingness to travel and work in a management consulting environment
