Overview In this role you will provide senior scientific and operational leadership for CSTAR's transplant-focused research portfolio. You will supervise research staff, ensure analytic rigor, and sustain consistency across concurrent studies. You will shape analytic strategies, review results, and contribute to manuscripts and grants. You will collaborate with investigators and support NIH-funded and other sponsored research, driving impact in transplant outcomes. Responsibilities- Provide senior-level oversight of quantitative, statistical, optimization, and simulation-based analyses by CSTAR staff
- Guide development and execution of analytic strategies and modeling approaches across studies
- Review and quality-check analytic outputs, code, and documentation for rigor and reproducibility
- Mentor and manage research staff; support onboarding and professional development
- Plan workloads and coordinate across projects; participate in hiring and performance reviews
- Oversee multiple concurrent research projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables
- Prepare interim summaries and reports for principal investigators, funders, and oversight bodies
- Collaborate with investigators and external partners; support grant development and reporting
