Overview In this role, you will own the SAP MDG product vision for Leo Production Systems, driving a long-term data governance program to improve master data accuracy and process efficiency. You will work cross-functionally to align stakeholder needs with MDG capabilities, blueprint and design solutions, and lead changes that optimize data-driven decision making. You'll enable seamless MDG integration with S/4HANA and core SAP modules while guiding roadmap planning and deployment. Responsibilities- Build SAP MDG-based product vision and solutions, optimizing processes and ease of use
- Conduct blueprint workshops, fit-gap analysis, and produce design documentation
- Identify change management needs and lead training material creation and train-the-trainer sessions
- Participate in strategic planning and roadmap discussions for SAP MDG solutions
- Manage quarterly and sprint planning, deployment, and delivery of product feature enhancements
- Define critical metrics (success, adoption, data-driven insights) and monitor impact
- Prepare design, functional specs, configurations, testing, and support for SAP RICEFW areas
- Build and support cross-workstream integrations (SAP PP, EWM, MM, SAP MES)
- Support SAP Production system for ticket resolutions and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate as a team player to contribute to collective success
- Enable MDG integration with SAP S/4HANA, MM, EWM, QM, PP, Finance and non-SAP systems
- Govern material lifecycle through standardization, harmonization, and compliance across material master data
Key requirements- 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructure
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and executive prioritization
- 5+ years hands-on SAP MDG configuration with at least 2 full end-to-end implementations (preferably in manufacturing) focusing on Material Master
- Experience implementing and supporting SAP MDG (data modeling, governance frameworks, workflow configuration)
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data lifecycle processes
- Experience integrating SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA and core modules (MM, PP, EWM, QM, Finance)
- Hands-on BRF+, workflow design, change requests, and data replication frameworks
