Overview In this role you support the Project Manager to deliver projects on time, within scope and on budget. You'll work closely with site staff, engineers and leadership to drive quality, safety and effective communication. The position offers growing managerial responsibility and hands-on experience in scheduling, cost tracking and project closeout. You will help shape on-site processes and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, contributing to project success and organizational goals.
Responsibilities- Assist Project Manager with project budgeting, CPM schedule development and subcontract/purchase order management
- Provide administrative support to the Project Superintendent and lead training for project staff and engineers
- Track change proposals/changes orders, owner payments and, when applicable, claims
- Monitor job costs, prepare quantity and cost reports, and support quarterly profit records
- Support on-site Total Quality Management processes and ensure adherence to safety and EEO programs
- Coordinate project closeout activities and ensure compliance with contract requirements
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of construction experience on relevant projects
- Advanced knowledge of construction principles/practices
- Experience managing field staff and building relationships with owners
- Geographically mobile and able to relocate within a region
