Overview In this role, you will join a Labor & Employment Practice Group to represent employers in a broad range of disputes and counseling matters. You will work with an experienced team, handling litigation and proactive guidance that supports client risk management. Responsibilities- Represent employers in disputes before administrative agencies and courts
- Manage all litigation phases from pleadings to trial preparation
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and motions
- Advise clients on employment law compliance and risk management
- Counsel on discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage/hour, discipline, and termination matters
- Collaborate with the Labor & Employment Team to develop litigation strategies
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through practical guidance
Key requirements- 4+ years of substantive labor & employment law experience in a sophisticated law firm setting
- Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction in good standing
- Experience handling employment litigation including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims
- Proficiency in legal research, discovery management, motions, depositions, and case strategy
- Ability to provide practical, business-focused employment counseling
- Ability to manage multiple matters with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills and client-service orientation
