Overview

In this HR Manager role, you will guide divisional people strategies to boost agility and competitiveness. You'll partner with division and operations leaders to align HR practices with business goals, manage the full employee life cycle, and lead talent initiatives. Your work will shape a dynamic, inclusive workplace that supports growth and responds to market changes. This is a hands-on role with impact on policy, development, and safety, within a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a business partner to division leadership and align HR strategy with division goals
  • Consult on talent development and bench-strength, retention and risk mitigation
  • Lead division-level change: policy standards, acquisitions, process improvements, technology and automation
  • Handle employee relations inquiries and support morale-building activities
  • Oversee day-to-day benefits inquiries and support corporate benefits and compensation programs
  • Guide hiring managers on candidate profiles, sourcing, compensation, and offers
  • Lead division-level succession planning and development of high-potential and under-performers
  • Ensure compliance with laws and partner with EHS on safety training and programs
  • Support safety and training observation programs and root-cause analysis of injuries
  • Collaborate with corporate talent development on successor candidate development and gap analysis
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple business units
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in training program design and implementation
  • Ability to diagnose organizational needs and develop strategy
  • Proven sourcing and onboarding experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel 25%
  • Location flexibility: Petaluma, CA or Corona, CA
