Overview As the People Business Partner for R&D NA you partner with business leaders to translate global R&D people strategies into local objectives. You drive talent management, workforce planning, and employee relations to support North America's R&D performance. You'll collaborate with global P&C and NA leadership to shape culture, DEI initiatives, and people priorities at scale. This role offers impact across a large R&D organization and a mission to improve health outcomes through people excellence.

Responsibilities- Drive talent agenda with business leaders, including talent reviews and succession for R&D roles up to L5 across NA
- Advise on execution of R&D business strategy in alignment with Global BPs and Sanofi NA P&C
- Manage employee relations with stakeholders and coordinate with People Excellence, People Services, and Legal
- Bring to life People & Culture agenda through coaching and influencing leadership across client groups
- Contribute to global Organisational Workforce Planning and SWP with country perspective
- Lead and support delivery of R&D People priorities in NA and coordinate in-country projects
- Develop people managers through key development activities and tools
- Leverage local people insights to drive initiatives and represent customer voice for global programs
- Promote DEI and culture in-country with legal and local culture considerations
- Encourage use of self-service tools and OneSupport
- Handle complex cases by exception
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with science, medicine, and operations teams
Key requirements- University Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Labor Law, Psychology or comparable
- Fluent in English
- 10-15 years of P&C experience
- Strong experience in performance, reward, talent acquisition, development, and succession planning
- Strong business orientation and commercially minded
- Agility in a globally integrated operating model with leadership teams
- Ability to scope, plan and implement P&C projects with change management
- Experience in organizational design and development (e.g., Space to Lead)
- Knowledge of US labor law
