Overview As Resident Engineer, you will oversee the Terminal E Garage and Roadways project at Logan Airport, ensuring conformance to plans, specs, and contract documents. You will coordinate with the construction manager, subcontractors, and owner, addressing design and construction issues and tracking progress. This role supports local infrastructure work across Boston, Chelmsford, or Worcester, with periodic night shifts and weekends. You drive safety, quality, and timely deliveries on a multi-element site under leadership of the Chief Resident Engineer.

Responsibilities- Review construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and feasibility
- Evaluate submittals and shop drawings for compliance
- Oversee work for conformance to plans and specifications
- Identify and help resolve design and construction issues
- Interface daily with construction manager, subcontractors, and project owner
- Attend daily owner/CM meetings and complete daily progress reports
- Measure quantities and track unit prices; monitor maintenance of traffic
- Photograph daily progress and coordinate with material technicians or surveyors
- Assist with pay requisitions and change orders; review redlines in Bluebeam
- Prepare/update punch lists; be flexible with hours including weekends and overtime
- Uphold safety and conduct policies in line with WSP standards
Key requirements- High School Diploma
- 11 years of relevant experience with 4 years supervising staff
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word
