Overview

In this Oncology MSL role, you engage with leading oncologists and share data on glucocorticoid receptor antagonism in cancer. You will cover the South Central Territory, collaborating with cross-functional teams to educate HCPs, gather insights, and support clinical trials. You help translate clinical data into practical knowledge for thought leaders and regional oncology groups. This position offers the chance to contribute to a first-in-class oncology program within a mission-driven company focused on cortisol modulation. You will operate with high scientific rigor and in alignment with Corcept's values and policies.

Responsibilities
  • Engage thought leaders and HCPs in gynecological oncology and other cancers to discuss cortisol modulation in oncology
  • Provide in-depth scientific education and respond to medical inquiries with evidence-based information
  • Develop and maintain relationships with thought leaders, patient advocacy groups, and oncology associations
  • Capture and communicate insights from the medical community to inform company decisions
  • Support company-sponsored trials, IIS, publications, education, advisory boards, and congress activities
  • Maintain high standards of scientific expertise; critically review literature for insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Operations, Market Access, Marketing, Data Analytics, etc.
  • Attend conferences and identify KOLs for advisory boards; manage territory plan and adapt to changes
  • Travel approximately 50-70% of the time
Key requirements
  • Advanced degree in clinical or medical science (PhD, MD, PharmD, MSN, PA, NP)
  • 1-3+ years of MSL experience; 2+ years of oncology experience
  • Strong scientific oncology acumen and knowledge of clinical trial data
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage projects
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; ability to create/edit content with accuracy
  • Preferred familiarity with Veeva CRM/Veeva Vault, SharePoint and/or BOX
  • Valid driving record according to company policy
