Overview As Senior Risk Engineer, you will support Builder's Risk underwriting and global risk-control efforts. You will perform technical desktop construction project reviews to inform underwriting risk assessments and may join site visits to deepen risk knowledge. You will collaborate with Risk Engineers, Underwriting, Valuation, and Claims teams, and represent the company in client-facing discussions. Responsibilities- Support Builder's Risk underwriting teams globally
- Conduct technical desktop construction project reviews to inform underwriting risk assessments
- Attend occasional site visits to enhance risk knowledge
- Communicate effectively with Risk Engineers, Underwriting, Valuation, and Claims teams
- Represent BHSI in marketplace discussions with customers during site visits or meetings
- Support other lines of business as needed
Key requirements- 10 years (+) in field and account engineering related to property construction insurance
- Extensive experience across a variety of project types / occupancies
- High degree of experience with EAR and CAR project types
- Highly skilled in effective professional communication, both written and verbal
