Overview In this role you assist planning, designing and directing architectural projects, applying advanced knowledge and independent judgment. You'll ensure code compliance and lead life safety analyses while coordinating drawings, models, and specifications across offices. You'll mentor junior staff, manage design quality and contribute to construction administration and client communications. The position supports BRPH's mission of delivering integrated, technically excellent solutions for mission-driven clients.
Responsibilities- Perform advanced architectural assignments with independence; some projects supervised by senior staff
- Research and apply codes and standards; conduct life safety analyses
- Coordinate and review drawings, digital models, and specifications across disciplines
- Mentor junior staff and ensure documentation quality and timeliness
- Support design budgets, proposals, and client communications
- Participate in construction administration activities (site meetings, shop drawings, RFIs, ASIs)
- Maintain constructability knowledge and apply sustainable design strategies
- Ensure adherence to established standards and practices
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program
- Eight years of experience in the architecture profession
- Completed AXP requirements
- U.S. citizen
- Registration as a licensed architect or on track for licensure within the next year
