Overview

As Senior Construction Project Manager at JLL, you lead end-to-end delivery of complex construction projects, aligning client and internal objectives. You serve as the main client contact, guiding design to closeout and coordinating due diligence, vendor selection, and cross-functional collaboration. You maintain master schedules, manage budgets and KPIs, and ensure timely completion across multiple projects in upstate New York. This role offers meaningful impact through strategic, cross-team delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary senior-level client contact throughout the project
  • Develop and execute project goals, schedules, budgets, and strategy
  • Maintain project goals and success criteria meeting client and JLL needs
  • Maintain open communication with clients, vendors, stakeholders, and internal partners
  • Coordinate due diligence efforts for the internal team
  • Develop and maintain detailed project budgets using market data
  • Maintain Master Project Schedules and ensure timely execution
  • Understand and deliver on KPIs
  • Prepare RFPs for vendor/contractor services and manage bidding
  • Forecast project spend aligning with the Client's Capital Plan
  • Facilitate critical project meetings with stakeholders
  • Guide design process from concept to construction documents
  • Manage construction contractors through onboarding, commissioning, punchlist, and closeout
  • Travel up to 25% within Upstate NY region
  • Work from home with travel across Upstate NY
Key requirements
  • 5+ years as a Project Manager or similar role
  • Clear client and team communication to achieve goals
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with executive-level interaction
  • Ability to manage budgeting, scheduling, submittals, and change orders
  • Experience managing interior fit-out and building infrastructure projects
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office and MS Project
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Excellent organization and analytical thinking
  • Interpersonal skills at executive level
  • Architectural drawing literacy
  • Budgeting and scheduling proficiency
  • MS Office suite
