Overview In this role you will support EPC project management on solar projects, helping to manage safety, quality, schedule, and cost control. You will collaborate with project managers, site leads, and EPC teams to execute projects and coordinate procurement, contracts, and documentation. You will interface with clients on proposals and project items, assist risk reviews, and help implement project plans and safety protocols. You will support site mobilization, permits, turnover, audits, and field progress to drive on-time, within-budget delivery.
Responsibilities- Assist in managing safety, quality, schedule, and cost control across EPC projects
- Coordinate development and implementation of project execution, QA, safety, subcontracting, staffing, and procurement plans
- Support negotiation and execution of prime contracts, subcontracts, POs, and change orders
- Prepare project plans for mobilization/demobilization and assist with site setup
- Support bidders registration, pre-qualification, RFPs, scope development, and contract documents
- Oversee procurement, RFI, submittals, meeting minutes, and change management
- Support cost reporting, scheduling, WBS, setup/closeout, and field progress tracking
- Produce project status reports, risks, schedules, costs, and cash flows for stakeholders
- Manage invoicing processes for prime contracts, subs, and suppliers
- Maintain project documentation systems and ensure compliance with requirements
- Support safety, quality, progress, and financial audits and assessments
- Assist with turnover logistics, retention, warranties, and closeout processes
- Help staff projects and maintain craft competency, training, and labor agreements
- Analyze labor and equipment costs and monitor craft classifications and productivity
- Ensure compliance with company policies and driving requirements
Key requirements- Bachelor Degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 3 years relevant construction experience or applicable experience substituted for degree
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
- Analytical, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Experience on construction sites or program management in relevant industries (aviation, energy, oil & gas, etc.) preferred
- Knowledge of GAAP is a plus
