Responsibilities- Represent Zurich insureds in high-complexity litigation across all phases
- Prepare and manage trial, pre-trial discovery, hearings, and mediation
- Document and maintain accurate case files per best practices
- Collaborate with claims adjusters to drive timely resolutions and escalations
- Provide guidance to lower-level attorneys and mentor on legal strategies
- Identify and suggest improvements to tools and processes for efficiency
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and protect confidential information
Key requirements- Juris Doctor and 10+ years of litigation experience
- Extensive experience in complex liability litigation including trials, arbitrations, mediations
- Strong track record of successful jury trial outcomes in insurance defense or liability matters
- Member of the California Bar in good standing
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Experience with Lexis or Westlaw
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and defense litigation environment
- Knowledge of applicable law and procedure
