Overview In this role you will define and lead State Street's enterprise IAM strategy and architecture across hybrid environments, partnering with cybersecurity and business stakeholders to secure identities and enable growth. You will shape governance, reference architectures, and controls for workforce, customer, third-party, and machine identities, with a strong focus on Zero Trust and least-privilege. The position sits within the Security Architecture organization, guiding large-scale transformations and ensuring regulatory alignment. You will work cross-functionally to embed identity controls in enterprise platforms and services.

Responsibilities- Define and maintain the IAM strategy, architecture, standards, and roadmap
- Govern and design identity services including Identity Governance, PAM, Authentication, Authorization, Federation, and Directory Services
- Develop secure identity architecture patterns for workforce, customer, third-party, and machine identities
- Partner with engineering, cloud, application, and cybersecurity teams to embed identity controls
- Drive adoption of Zero Trust, strong authentication, and least privilege with architectural governance for strategic initiatives
Key requirements- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, IAM, or related tech disciplines
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale IAM across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises
- Deep knowledge of IGA, PAM, SSO, MFA, and federated identity technologies
- Experience with leading IAM platforms (Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock or equivalent)
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent desired
