Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, sitework, and utility projects.
- Use estimating software (HCSS, HeavyBid, AGTEK) to generate accurate bids.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to define scope and specs.
- Conduct site visits to gather information for estimates.
- Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes for competitiveness and accuracy.
- Maintain a historical cost database for future reference.
- Present and explain estimates to management and clients as needed.
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in estimating for construction projects, focusing on civil and utilities
