Responsibilities- Lead daily laboratory operations including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow planning
- Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, procedures, and methodologies aligned with industry standards and customer requirements
- Oversee calibration, operation, and maintenance of high-current, high-voltage, and environmental testing equipment
- Mentor and develop test engineers and technicians to foster technical excellence
- Analyze complex test data, interpret results, and communicate findings through technical reports
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and product teams to validate requirements and support product development
- Promote a safe laboratory environment prioritizing operational excellence and compliance
- Manage laboratory budgets, capital equipment purchases, maintenance schedules, and resource planning
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred
- Seven or more years in a testing laboratory environment, including at least three years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, circuit breakers, protective devices, and industry testing standards
- Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation and data acquisition tools, including oscilloscopes, power analyzers, LabVIEW, and MATLAB
- Proven experience developing testing methodologies, validation processes, and quality improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or comparable quality management systems
