Overview In this role you partner with site leadership to align people strategy with business goals, leading the People Team to enhance the associate experience. You guide workforce and leadership development, change management, and adoption of digital HR tools to support a scalable, compliant operation. You will analyze people data to drive improvements in turnover and engagement while shaping a strong, belonging-centric culture. This position offers influence across operations and HR to sustain Walmart's mission through its people.

Responsibilities- Act as strategic partner to Site General Manager and senior leadership to implement people practices
- Lead the People Team at the distribution center and drive the associate experience
- Develop and implement People strategies aligned with business objectives
- Support workforce planning, talent and succession planning, and leadership development
- Lead change management with clear communication and follow-up
- Oversee adoption of new people digital tools to support the mission
- Monitor policies and regulations and drive communication and change management
- Analyze data on turnover, engagement, and compliance to identify improvement opportunities
- Foster a culture of belonging with regular associate listening sessions and action plans
- Support Associate Open-Door concerns and investigations according to Code of Conduct
- Oversee OSHA logs, unemployment claims, Tad assignment documentation, and state forms
- Support full management candidate hiring with Talent Acquisition involvement, including requisition management and offers
- Influence organizational changes with an associate-centric lens
- Ensure alignment of HR activities with Walmart policies
- Partner with operations on initiatives to build leadership capacity
Key requirements- 2-4 years of HR Manager experience or similar
- Strong understanding of HR fundamentals
