Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership on large laboratory and science-building commissions
- Oversee multiple small to medium projects with guidance to junior staff
- Develop space programs, planning grids, and service distribution concepts for labs
- Lead documentation of laboratory systems and equipment provision
- Collaborate with design teams and owners on documentation and construction administration
- Contribute to business development through proposals, pre-positioning, and presentations
- Mentor junior staff and participate in performance coaching
- Participate in recruitment and interview processes as requested
Key requirements- Minimum 10 years of professional experience across project types, complexity, and scale
- Experience with academic, research and STEM facilities for college/university clients
- Strong leadership, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills
- Proven experience in programming, design, and construction of laboratory facilities
- Understanding of code implementation, jurisdiction review, and construction practices
- Ability to manage clients, project teams, and processes
- Proficiency with design software including Revit, Bluebeam, Enscape, and SketchUp
- Willingness to travel locally, nationally, and internationally up to 25%
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
