Overview

In this role you will lead a fast-paced manufacturing site, driving overall performance and alignment with safety, quality, efficiency, and maintenance standards. You will guide a competent, engaged team while ensuring environmental compliance and achievement of business objectives. You'll apply a continuous improvement mindset to raise site capabilities, share best practices across locations, and oversee capital projects and cost controls. This position offers the chance to shape operations on the ground, close collaboration with cross-functional teams, and impact across production, quality, and safety outcomes. Compensation / Benefits

Responsibilities
  • Drive safety, housekeeping, preventive maintenance, productivity, and quality across the site
  • Manage controllable expenses to meet financial goals
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices across sites
  • Explore equipment/process enhancements to expand capability and efficiency
  • Ensure BOM accuracy and production within cost and quality commitments
  • Oversee yard organization, inventory turnover, and disposal of obsolete stock
  • Collaborate with EH&S to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Spend substantial time on the factory floor engaging with teams
  • Maintain internal controls and develop capital project plans
  • Use KPIs and OPS tools (Daily Production Reports, BI dashboards, Vorne boards) to measure progress
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor site staff, and implement training programs
  • Develop technical knowledge of site processes
  • Direct and monitor performance of direct reports against goals
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years as a plant manager in a similar industry or equivalent
  • Experience managing automated, high-speed manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to review production reports and financial statements
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures
