Overview

As Senior Human Resource Manager, you will partner with site leadership in Highland to shape and execute HR strategies that attract, develop, and retain key talent within a high-performance manufacturing environment. You will lead labor relations, staffing, culture, and organizational capability to meet site objectives and actions plans. You'll drive policy governance, compliance, and HR operations while promoting safety, inclusion, and development initiatives. This role offers visibility to plant leadership and impactful work across workforce planning, coaching, and people analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as strategic HR partner to Highland operations leadership
  • Drive HR excellence via Eaton programs and standardization
  • Develop and maintain compliant HR policies and operating reviews
  • Oversee staffing, talent management, succession planning, and development
  • Lead labor relations across union and salaried populations (investigations, grievances, discipline, contract interpretation)
  • Lead employee relations activities (coaching, investigations, performance management)
  • Administer compensation practices and provide reporting for regulatory and budgeting needs
  • Promote safety, wellness, and community involvement initiatives (MESH, Zero Incident Safety Culture)
  • Support talent management initiatives (succession planning, leadership development, mentorship, performance management)
  • Coach leadership on policies and regulatory compliance to foster an engaged culture
  • Participate in company-wide committees (wellness, inclusion & diversity)
  • Partner with HR Services on wage assessments and market adjustments
  • Facilitate end-to-end employment processes and document HR communications
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • 5+ years of professional HR experience
  • 2+ years of Labor Relations experience
  • Eaton does not sponsor immigration visa filings for this role
