Senior Workday Analyst, People Technology (Compensation)

Overview

As Senior Analyst, People Technology, you drive and optimize technology that supports our people. You will lead complex system initiatives, aligning tech with our people-first goals to improve the employee experience and organizational effectiveness. You'll collaborate across functions to translate requirements into scalable system solutions and oversee UAT, upgrades, and data integrity. This role combines project leadership with SME-level system expertise to deliver meaningful improvements at scale. You will join a mission-driven team shaping how technology empowers people and the guest experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end People Technology projects from conception to implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into system-based solutions
  • Act as system administrator and SME for People Tech systems, ensuring data integrity
  • Provide technical leadership in analyzing requirements, overseeing UAT, and managing upgrades
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance functionality and user experience
  • Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials
  • Support production issues with case management, root cause analysis, and escalation when needed
  • Guide the team on best practices for system use and process improvements
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Human Resources, or related field (preferred)
  • 5-8 years of HRIS experience with Workday, including admin and configuration
  • Experience with HCM, Core and Advanced Compensation, and at least one of Recruiting, Journeys, Learning, or Paradox
  • Experience leading multiple medium to large projects from planning to post-implementation support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot and innovate
  • Deep understanding of IT processes related to recruiting, benefits, compensation, payroll, and integration with HR systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Strong PM/organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic mindset with ability to translate tech concepts into user-friendly solutions
