Overview

As an Infrastructure Superintendent at Graham, you will lead field operations on infrastructure projects, including bridge construction, scheduling, quality control, and safety oversight. You'll coordinate with engineers, estimators, and subcontractors to execute work on time and within budget, while upholding safety and quality standards. You will participate in preconstruction activities, develop site logistics and phasing plans, and support project meetings and claims resolution. This role offers impact across major transit and transportation projects and opportunities for career growth within a respected, worker-owned firm.

Responsibilities
  • lead field operations and supervise bridge construction work
  • participate in preconstruction services including site logistics, scheduling, phasing, and budget development
  • manage site staffing, quality control, sub-trade coordination, scheduling, cost control, and safety
  • determine construction methods, quantities, equipment needs, and hours documentation
  • coordinate work across crafts, departments, and subcontractors
  • maintain alignment with engineering, estimating, and planning to meet drawings, specs, and schedule
  • monitor safety programs and implement corrective actions
  • assist with hiring/training of field personnel and with project meetings
  • support project managers in resolving claims and warranty items
  • manage project budget for self-performed work in collaboration with the project manager
  • knowledge of standard construction software and management processes
Key requirements
  • 5-20 years in Civil/Bridge construction
  • 3-8 years in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity
  • experience on infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, dams, water/wastewater facilities)
  • completed at least one project valued at $40M or greater
  • awareness of cost and schedule impact of changes
  • knowledge of construction engineering and design
  • ability to work closely with project manager to drive project success
