Overview As a Mulesoft Architect at CapTech, you'll design and deliver scalable integration solutions that align with client goals. You'll work across cross-functional teams to implement API-driven, microservice-based architectures in an Agile, SDLC-driven environment. You'll act as a technical adviser, shaping standards and accelerators while mentoring peers. You'll participate in pre-sales and gain exposure to diverse clients and industries, contributing to CapTech's mission of delivering measurable outcomes through technology.

Responsibilities- Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver tailored technical solutions
- Lead cross-functional projects to implement scalable MuleSoft solutions across the SDLC using Agile
- Serve as a trusted architectural advisor, aligning solutions with business goals
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Create clear, high-quality deliverables communicating complex architectures
- Leverage internal training and programs for continuous knowledge development
- Mentor architects and developers through reviews and communities of practice
- Participate in technical pre-sales, including solution design and scoping
- Engage with a variety of clients, business models, and industry verticals
Key requirements- MuleSoft 4.x experience at a high architectural level
- Project experience with MuleSoft integrations
- 10+ years software development experience
- Knowledge of integration patterns
- Experience creating Mule applications in Anypoint Studio
- API design experience and publishing to Anypoint Exchange
- RAML familiarity for API design
- REST and/or SOAP API development experience
- Experience integrating enterprise apps (Salesforce, SAP, Workday, Oracle ERP)
- Familiarity with microservice architectures and monitoring tools
- Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus
- Relational and NoSQL database experience
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Experience with enterprise security practices
- Experience with LLMs in production and related prompt engineering / RAG / agentic AI concepts (optional)
