Overview

In this role, you will perform statistical, economic, and financial analysis on public and private sector issues. You will develop algorithms to process data and build tools, and advance models to simulate policy or business impacts. You'll work with large datasets and craft clear narratives and reports for clients, translating complex analyses into actionable insights. You will join a collaborative, cross-functional team within KPMG's Ignition Centers and contribute to high-stakes advisory work that informs decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Perform statistical, economic, and financial analyses on policy and regulatory issues for diverse clients
  • Develop and apply complex algorithms to process data, build tools, and automate tasks
  • Advance mathematical and computational models to simulate policy or business impacts
  • Manipulate large data sets to support analyses and apply creative problem solving
  • Craft rigorous narratives and translate analyses into informative reports/presentations for non-specialists
  • Write technical and non-technical memoranda and reports based on research findings
  • Maintain integrity and professionalism to uphold a respectful work environment
Key requirements
  • Minimum three years of experience in advisory-related quantitative analysis
  • Experience with data analysis software such as STATA, SAS, Python, SQL and R (minimum two years)
  • Experience with data management of large data volumes and econometric analyses
  • Experience with data science, ML methods, and LLM-based solutions and products
  • Strong written and verbal communication, ability to work autonomously and in team
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
