Overview In this role you will oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring timely, on-budget, and compliant delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and subcontractors to maintain quality, safety, and scope. You will drive budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and compliance, shaping project outcomes in dynamic environments. Responsibilities- Manage all phases of construction task orders from RFP to completion
- Develop pricing proposals using RS Means or similar tools when required
- Source and evaluate subcontractors and negotiate pricing for RFP elements
- Support multiple RFPs across diverse locations, including sensitive work requirements
- Develop Quality Control procedures and ensure adherence to scope
- Ensure projects meet financial targets identified in the RFP
- Maintain schedules to ensure on-time project delivery
- Develop and implement safety programs compliant with OSHA and other regulations
- Supervise trades personnel and subcontractors
- Handle general duties as assigned
Key requirements- BA/BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Two (2) or more years of experience managing projects >$10M
- Six (6) or more years as Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager (or equivalent)
- Travel 50% or more
- RS Means Estimating experience preferred
- Computer literacy: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit preferred
- State Certified General Contractor's license required (CA, AZ, NM, CO) and/or NASCLA preferred
- CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour certifications; STS and LEED GA/AP preferred
