Overview As Senior Product Manager for MARIE's Laboratory Science competency, you own the strategy and roadmap for AI-enabled lab workflows on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. You collaborate with scientists, lab managers, and QA to prioritize automation use cases and translate workflows into agent-driven tasks. You shape data-model interactions, autonomy governance, and validation criteria to deliver production-ready capabilities. This role connects Scientific AI, lab programs, and MARIE competencies to accelerate laboratory automation at scale.
Responsibilities- Identify and prioritize laboratory automation use cases with scientists, lab managers and QA stakeholders
- Decompose lab workflows into agent-executable tasks with inputs, tools, decision points, failure modes and human checkpoints
- Define agent interactions with the ONE Lab data model on 3DEXPERIENCE and assess legacy systems scope
- Contribute to evaluation framework for agent quality, including correctness, first-pass acceptance and required evidence
- Own the autonomy roadmap, defining human-in-the-loop, supervised autonomy, and audit/validation controls
- Partner with Scientific AI and Lab organizations and with other MARIE competencies
- Evaluate partnerships with laboratory automation and robotics providers to extend workflows into physical execution
- Represent the product externally and internally through customer engagements, webinars, and live demos
Key requirements- 5+ years in product management or comparable ownership in enterprise software
- Direct working knowledge of laboratory informatics systems (LIMS, ELN, LES, instrument data capture or inventory management)
- Practical knowledge of LLM-based and agentic systems: task planning, tool calling, multi-agent orchestration, retrieval grounding, evaluation methods, failure modes, and cost, latency, reliability implications
- Proficiency with AI tools for research, requirement drafting, data analysis and content production
- Ability to translate complex scientific workflows into actionable specifications for engineering teams
- Working understanding of regulated laboratory environments (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, audit trails, electronic signatures, data integrity)
