Overview

As Site HR Manager at the Twinsburg R&D site, you lead the full HR function for about 150 engineers and staff, shaping people strategies in line with Safran's transformational goals. You will drive HR operations, compliance, and projects, partnering with site leadership to enable talent development and data-driven decisions. Your work spans recruitment to offboarding, change management to organizational design, and continuous improvement of HR processes. This role offers visibility within a global tech-driven aerospace group and a chance to impact a critical site-wide people agenda.

Responsibilities
  • Lead HR team and day-to-day activities across the site, managing full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, internships, payroll, compensation & benefits, employee relations, disciplinary matters, offboarding)
  • Oversee performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, training, and employee engagement; coach managers on people matters
  • Ensure accurate HR administration, reporting, data integrity, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state employment laws and Safran policies; support audits and immigration processes; monitor regulatory changes and implement actions
  • Lead HR projects and transformation, implementing new systems, tools, and processes; support grading, compensation programs, organizational changes, digitalization, and engagement initiatives; manage change and communications
  • Build strong partnerships with Site Leadership, managers, employees, and the broader Safran organization; act as trusted HR advisor
  • Develop and continuously improve the site HR strategy aligned with business priorities; enhance talent acquisition, retention, compensation & benefits, development, succession, and workforce planning; use KPIs to identify trends and drive improvements
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field; minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience and/or training
  • 3 years of management experience
