Overview In this role, you will lead microgrid construction projects from contract signing to commissioning, coordinating internal teams to deliver on time and on budget. You will work across cross-functional groups to align stakeholders and drive project success while scaling the project management function as the company grows. You'll manage third-party relationships, bids, and budgets to ensure smooth execution. This is a hands-on position at a fast-paced, private-equity backed growth business with a meaningful impact on resilient energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities- Lead individual microgrid construction projects from contract to commissioning
- Coordinate internal functions (Business Development, Engineering, Service) to align during execution
- Create project schedules, operating rhythms, and sequences of operations for stakeholders
- Manage third-party agreements and relationships with subcontractors and vendors
- Oversee bid solicitation, bid reviews, subcontractor negotiations, and final budgets
- Track costs and schedules to ensure on-time delivery
- Identify and resolve conflicts and implement solutions
- Contribute to building out the Project Management function to support growth
Key requirements- 7+ years of experience in construction management, general contracting, logistics, engineering, energy industry, or military experience
- Understanding of building code and regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Proactive, autonomous, and able to represent Scale in customer-facing situations
- Some experience with logistics or project management software
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
