Manager, Infrastructure Project Advisory (Construction/Engineering)

Overview

In this role you drive oversight of large capital projects within KPMG's Infrastructure and Projects Advisory. You will lead project reviews, improve construction management processes, and strengthen internal controls in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will guide engagement teams, support business development, and build external networks with owners and practitioners. Responsibilities
  • Oversee construction contract audits, compliance reviews, and project monitoring for large capital initiatives
  • Analyze and improve construction management processes and internal controls
  • Conduct project reviews on percentage of completion, change orders, estimates, schedule delays, and productivity losses
  • Lead engagement teams with data collection, analysis, and documentation; prepare reports and recommendations
  • Support pursuit activities, including proposal writing and market development
  • Collaborate with Directors/Partners and build external networks with owners, engineers, and construction managers
  • Uphold integrity and professionalism in the work environment
Key requirements
  • Minimum five years of experience in construction management or advisory services on major projects in power, utilities, oil & gas, infrastructure, manufacturing, healthcare, or public sector
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field
  • Professional certifications such as PE, PMP, CCM, CPA, AIA are preferred
  • Strong client coordination, subcontractor management, and full life cycle experience in construction projects
  • Experience with project management tools: Procore, E-Builder, Primavera Enterprise, Prolog, or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and records organization skills
  • Willingness to travel
