Overview

In this role you contribute to the design, development, and delivery of complex architectural projects across public and institutional sectors. You will work within the Buildings practice as part of an integrated team, supporting projects from concept through construction documentation. You will leverage advanced Revit capabilities and BIM workflows to coordinate with engineers and stakeholders, ensuring high-quality, buildable solutions. The position offers growth toward licensure and a strong focus on design excellence and collaboration. You will help drive project coordination, technical detailing, and documentation in a dynamic, mission-driven firm.

Responsibilities
  • Develop architectural designs, construction documents, and technical detailing using Revit and BIM
  • Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules with high accuracy
  • Participate in all project phases from conceptual design to construction documentation
  • Collaborate with Project Architects, Project Managers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated designs
  • Conduct code, accessibility, life safety, and zoning research for regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate models with structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants within BIM
  • Assist in project presentations, renderings, graphics, and proposal materials
  • Participate in quality control and maintain BIM/documentation standards
  • Attend project meetings and contribute to technical discussions and planning
  • Provide guidance to junior team members on documentation and Revit workflows
  • Support construction administration activities including submittals, RFIs, and site observations
Key requirements
  • 3 to 7 years of professional architectural experience
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM-based project delivery
  • Experience producing construction documents across multiple project phases
  • Working knowledge of building codes, accessibility, and life-safety standards
  • Strong technical detailing, problem-solving, and coordination skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment
