Overview

In this role you lead the Facilities team to maintain top-tier casino and hotel operations, ensuring reliable building systems and safety. You will guide maintenance, vendor coordination, and policy execution while supporting 24/7 operations. Your work shapes overall facility performance, safety compliance, and financial stewardship, enabling a seamless guest experience. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive reliable, safe, and efficient building operations. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to influence critical infrastructure and team development.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage maintenance trades (HVAC, Electrical, Building Maintenance, etc.) and coordinate project planning and task execution
  • Monitor critical system alarms; participate in Emergency Action Plan and Building Continuity Plan drills
  • Conduct and oversee employee performance evaluations; manage hiring process and staffing development
  • Process vendor requests with scope, expectations, and timelines; coordinate with Administration and Procurement
  • Review and update policies/procedures; ensure team adherence to policies
  • Oversee financial health of maintenance and critical systems divisions (budget forecasting, tracking, transactions)
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance direction to subordinate staff
  • Perform additional duties to support efficient department operations
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of facilities maintenance management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, alarm, and fire systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Forklift and aerial lift operation capability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Word Perfect, Excel)
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Ability to understand SDS and enforce safety guidelines
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Gaming license may be required per San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission guidance
