Overview In this role you support Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Real Estate by advising on a broad range of transactions, from financing to sale-leaseback and leasing across the Americas. You will work with a team of real estate lawyers to manage the lifecycle of deals, considering regulatory and reputational issues and coordinating with control-side areas. The role blends transaction execution with ongoing asset management and due diligence oversight. You contribute to cross-functional partnership and long-term investment performance within a global financial services firm. Responsibilities- Advising on structuring, negotiating and executing real estate transactions, including financing and sale-leaseback
- Supporting ongoing asset management
- Managing outside counsel and overseeing legal due diligence
- Handling transaction-related fund and fiduciary issues
- Coordinating with other control-side areas
Key requirements- 5-7 years' experience in a leading law firm, financial institution or institutional real estate company
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating real estate transactional documentation (term sheets, acquisition/disposition, leasing, development, construction, financing, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills managing multiple projects under deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build stakeholder relationships
