Overview In this role you will shape advanced test systems for Digital Phased Array payloads in Amazon LEO. You'll lead DVT, QTP, and ATP campaigns and design OTA tests using existing infrastructure like near-field scanners and RF optics. You'll work with cross-disciplinary teams to advance test coverage, accuracy, and repeatability for 5G NR, WiFi, and satellite-enabled wireless products. This is a high-impact position focused on enabling scalable, reliable wireless testing at world-leading speeds.
Responsibilities- Design DVT and QTP campaigns aligned to device goals and resources
- Design OTA tests compatible with current test infrastructure
- Define test strategy and instrumentation for new wireless tests (DVT, QTP, ATP) for Payload and CT products
Key requirements- Experience in developing functional specs, verification plans, and test procedures
- Knowledge of antenna fundamentals and radiation theory; EM simulation experience
- Strong RF/microwave components and frontend design understanding; mixed-signal and digital modulation knowledge (OFDM)
- 4+ years driving test strategy for 5G NR FR1/FR2, WiFi 6/7 products
- 5+ years experience in test automation and automated testing solutions for wireless platforms
- Hands-on RF measurement tools experience (VSA, VSG) and familiarity with testing platforms (CMW500)
