Overview In this role you will guide ITSM strategy and service delivery to improve efficiency within a government-NOSC context. You will work with cross-functional teams to shape ITSM policies and implement practical solutions in ServiceNow. You'll design, develop, and administer ServiceNow modules, dashboards, and portals, delivering scalable automation and secure configurations. This position combines hands-on development with strategic ITSM planning, offering high-impact work on critical security and operations programs.
Responsibilities- Guide ITSM strategy, planning, and service delivery to improve efficiency
- Provide ITSM recommendations for policy and process improvements
- Work independently and with remote teams/clients
- Design and develop queries, reports, and dashboards
- Design and configure ServiceNow modules and forms
- Administer ServiceNow applications, including security/workflow updates
- Develop scoped applications and a service portal
- Provide subject-matter-expert support as needed
Key requirements- Bachelor with 12+ years of experience or commensurate experience
- 8+ years IT experience
- 8+ years as a ServiceNow developer
- Thorough knowledge of the ServiceNow platform
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, XML
- Experience with REST and SOAP services
- Understanding of ITIL (and/or ITIL certification)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset
- US citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
