Responsibilities- Manage design and construction across multiple campuses with budgets, schedules, and status reporting
- Verify design compliance with QTS system standards and Basis of Design documents
- Oversee installation and commissioning to meet system requirements
- Coordinate multi-phased site development plans to meet time, budget, and quality targets
- Update campus master plans to reflect evolving dynamics and metrics
- Evaluate pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning services
- Maintain project schedules and guide teams toward on-time completion
- Identify and remove schedule obstacles and manage stakeholder relationships
- Represent QTS in OAC and low-voltage meetings
- Collaborate with internal development and Facility Operations/Technology teams to align needs and deliver solutions
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
- 4-8 years in technology systems design/implementation (security, network infrastructure)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel up to 50% (about every other week for 2-3 days)
- U.S. citizenship required for federal contracts
- Experience in construction of large-scale data centers or mission-critical systems
- Strong QA/QC knowledge and adherence to standards and regulations
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues to leadership or non-engineers
- Project management or lead experience on large-scale projects
- Knowledge of pre-construction requirements and construction processes
- Proven ability to manage implementation contractors
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
