Overview In this role you will define and drive the AI security program to protect AI/ML systems across data, models, APIs, and integrations. You will partner with engineering, risk, and business teams to embed secure AI practices and governance throughout the lifecycle. You will monitor security trends, articulate requirements, and enable risk-aligned AI deployment. Responsibilities- Define and lead the AI security strategy and standards across AI/ML lifecycles
- Identify and mitigate AI-specific risks (model abuse, prompt injection, data leakage, model theft) and embed governance
- Collaborate with engineering, risk, and business teams to operationalize secure AI practices (threat modeling, control validation, continuous monitoring)
- Document traceability between control requirements, risks, and governance frameworks
- Monitor information security trends and inform leadership
Key requirements- 5+ years in cybersecurity with at least 2 years in AI/ML security assessments
- Deep understanding of Generative AI/LLMs and assessment frameworks (MITRE ATLAS, OWASP Top 10 for LLM/GenAI, NIST AI RMF)
- Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, AI/ML lifecycle, data dependencies, and AI risks
- Experience bridging security controls with platform or distributed computing (Cloud, PaaS) environments
- Strong executive presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to decompose complex issues, drive decisions, and work with senior leaders
