Overview In this role you will lead multidisciplinary teams to drive complex project delivery from inception through completion. You will own estimating and cost planning for portfolios and projects, ensuring robust processes and alignment with the delivery program. You will manage budgets, risks, and value against client expectations while advancing net-zero carbon goals. This is a hands-on leadership position that blends commercial insight with project delivery, within a safety-focused, client-centric consultancy. You'll work closely with senior leaders to shape estimates, governance, and best practices across the business.

Responsibilities- Lead a team in preparing estimates and cost planning for portfolios/projects
- Coordinate measurement exercises and schedules of quantities
- Benchmark and QA estimates for accuracy and fitness for purpose
- Present complex estimating and risk modelling data to stakeholders
- Analyse quotations and provide commercial insights and scenario options
- Collaborate with project peers, leaders, and SLT to deliver on KPIs
- Support net-zero carbon transition in delivery and identify emissions reductions
- Oversee design and wider consultant teams to ensure effective completion of responsibilities
Key requirements- Degree (or equivalent) with professional work experience in opportunity management, construction and costs
- Expertise in Pure Estimating
- Understanding of construction costs and tender processes
- Proficient in measurement of building quantities
- Knowledge of procurement markets including Public Frameworks
- Ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
