Overview

In this role you will lead the Rooms division to deliver exceptional guest experiences across Front Office, Guest Services and Housekeeping. You'll guide daily operations, drive service excellence, and champion efficiency to support Loews' warm, high quality brand. You'll partner with Revenue, Sales and Marketing to optimize outcomes while mentoring a high performing team. This position offers strategic influence in a guest centric hotel group with opportunities to grow and impact guest loyalty. You will shape service standards and operational practices at Loews Chicago O'Hare, contributing to a scalable hospitality culture.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Front Office, Guest Services and Housekeeping teams to create a positive, high performing work environment
  • Oversee daily rooms operations ensuring seamless service and adherence to brand standards
  • Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction, addressing issues promptly
  • Implement initiatives to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency
  • Manage departmental budgets, forecasts and labor costs to optimize profitability
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management to set competitive room rates
  • Partner with Sales and Conference teams to fulfill special requests and events
  • Drive training programs to elevate service standards and proficiency
  • Analyze performance metrics and hold managers accountable for results
  • Coordinate hotel participation in marketing initiatives and promotions
  • Foster strong interdepartmental communication for smooth operations
  • Attend mandatory trainings and adapt to varying schedules
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or Business Administration, or relevant work experience
  • Minimum six years in hotel management with at least four in a leadership role
  • Experience with hotel management software; Opera System preferred
  • Master's degree in hospitality management preferred
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis in a hotel setting
  • Ability to stand long periods and work weekends/evenings/holidays
