Overview

In this role you will support DoD/Military-focused environmental remediation engagements, contributing to investigations, remediation and compliance efforts for DoD districts in Florida and the Caribbean. You work within a multi-disciplinary team delivering environmental services across pre-, during, and post-construction phases to enhance readiness and sustainment. This role offers hands-on environmental analysis, reporting, and coordination with senior stakeholders in a mission-driven consulting environment.

Responsibilities
  • perform environmental remediation activities and investigations
  • support water/wastewater, industrial hygiene, and environmental conservation tasks
  • contribute to base sustainment, restoration, and modernization efforts
  • prepare scopes of work, estimates, and technical reports
  • maintain documentation and data in enterprise databases
  • assist in procurement-related document handling and contract monitoring
  • support compliance evaluation, permitting, and SRM initiatives
  • provide customer-facing reports and SOW-related communications
Key requirements
  • BS or MS in chemistry or related field
  • at least 8 years of environmental laboratory experience
  • minimum 3 years in data usability assessment and review of laboratory methods
  • HAZWOPER certification suitable for project sites
  • U.S. citizenship
  • strong written and oral communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and Adobe products
  • ability to obtain security clearances (potential Top Secret or DOE Q)
  • travel willingness within CONUS, PR, and Caribbean
  • experience with OSHA regulations and EPA standards
  • knowledge of hazardous materials transport and disposal procedures
