Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician Assistant for long term locum coverage at a inpatient facility located in Lebanon, PA
The Nurse Practitioner must be available for the complete coverage block from 10/30/2026 to ongoing
This assignment includes Inpatient, onsite hospital coverage, cardiac surgery and vein harvesting, and on call weekend.
Locum Physician Assistant Surgery Cardiothoracic Lebanon, PA
Shift: 24-hour call, Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 7:00 AM
Start Date: 10/30/2026
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details: Cardiac Surgery coverage; approximately 3 weekends per month
Patient Population: Adults 18+
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities: Urgent cardiac surgery coverage, patient evaluation from cath lab to surgery, ICU-to-home patient management, rounding and consultation with surgeon backup
Required Procedures: Vein harvesting
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: APP; surgeon available for backup after consult
Days Per Month: Approximately 3 weekends per month
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call, Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 7:00 AM; approximately 4 hours of callback per day including rounding
Requirements
- Pennsylvania license or IMLC/LOQ in hand
- DEA required
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Acute Care certification is not required
