Practice Setting
Providers will work in an employer-sponsored health clinic providing primary care services and minor workers' compensation treatment for adult employees. The clinic focuses on accessible, patient-centered care while supporting employee health, wellness, and workplace productivity.
The practice environment offers strong clinical support and a manageable patient volume, allowing providers to build meaningful relationships with patients and deliver comprehensive care.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services for adult patients
- Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
- Manage chronic medical conditions
- Conduct routine health assessments and physical examinations
- Provide preventive care and wellness counseling
- Manage minor occupational health and workers' compensation cases
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and clinic protocols
- Coordinate care with specialists when appropriate
- Document patient encounters within EPIC EMR
Schedule
40 Hours Per Week
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 30-minute unpaid lunch

Patient Volume & Support
- Approximately 2 patients per hour

Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NCCPA Certification
- Active Minnesota Physician Assistant License
- Active DEA Registration
- Hands-on BLS Certification
- Minimum one year of experience in:
- Primary Care
- Family Medicine
- Occupational Health
- Ability to provide comprehensive outpatient care for adults
Preferred
- EPIC EMR experience
