Opportunity Highlights
- Location: Pueblo, Colorado
- Setting: Level III Trauma Center
- Schedule: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
- Call-back: Typically 1 4 hours
- Gratis: First 4 hours of call-back included
- Patient Volume: Approximately 2 5 admissions per day
- Patient Population: Adolescent, adult & geriatric
- EMR: Epic
- Support: Hospital-based trauma resources; no dedicated orthopedic support staff
- Availability: Urgent September coverage plus December dates and ongoing sporadic coverage
Coverage Dates
- Nov. 26, 2026 Dec. 1, 2026
- Dec. 24 Dec. 28, 2026
- Dec. 30, 2026 Jan. 4, 2027
Physicians should be available for at least one of the listed blocks and willing to provide ongoing coverage as needed.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgery
- Active Colorado license or IMLC with LOQ in hand
- Transferable DEA required for September coverage
- Clean malpractice/background history
- Epic experience preferred
- Emergency temporary privileges may be available
