Responsibilities- Manage multiple projects of large/medium complexity and coordinate with principals, project managers, and controls to maintain an efficient work plan
- Define scope, schedule, goals, priorities, budget, and staffing in collaboration with leadership
- Maintain design intent through documentation and construction phases
- Coordinate building systems to align with design intent
- Conceptualize design from functional and aesthetic perspectives in line with client requirements and program
- Develop space planning, block planning, and adjacency diagrams with the building program
- Present design concepts to stakeholders in early project phases
- Lead project coordination and owner/site meetings with internal teams and external consultants
- Guide and mentor junior staff; lead design critiques and constructability reviews
- Utilize BIM to advance design and documentation across phases
- Lead preparation of specifications in coordination with building plans
- Apply sustainable design principles and code requirements
- Evaluate building systems and materials; analyze site conditions
- Support QA/QC practices and marketing activities to win work
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent
- Registered Architect
- minimum of ten years of experience
- Driver's license with clean MVR
- Experience across healthcare, S&T, Advanced Manufacturing, or Mission Critical markets
- Strong understanding of accessibility and life-safety codes, building systems, construction means and methods, and industry standards
- Ability to lead design concepts, coordinate with teams, and influence project outcomes
- Ability to travel up to 20% and perform fieldwork as needed
