Responsibilities- Assess specimen acceptability according to criteria
- Execute routine and complex procedures per SOPs
- Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation
- Make technical testing decisions and problem solve
- Prepare and evaluate reagents/controls
- Report timely test results for patient care
- Perform preventive maintenance and QC
- Manage testing bench supplies
- Assist with specimen processing
- Maintain safe work environment and PPE compliance
Key requirements- Bachelor in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
- 1 year or more clinical laboratory testing experience OR MLS degree
- ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)
- Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform job duties
